We had an incredible dinner of small plates at The Classic Kitchen & Cocktails. Every small plate was a standout — poutine with chicken that was rich, savory, and a surprisingly huge portion; crisp, cheesy arancini; perfectly fried hush puppies over a bright, flavorful black‑eyed pea salad; ultra‑crispy Buffalo cauliflower that wasn’t oversauced (rare and appreciated); beautifully seared tuna tataki; and crab cakes with a great sear on the outside and tender, well‑seasoned interior. They take gluten‑free seriously — a dedicated GF fryer, tons of GF options, and an owner who’s been gluten‑free for 10 years and truly understands celiac safety. It made the whole night easy and enjoyable for my sons. Fantastic food, thoughtful hospitality, and one of the best gluten‑free friendly spots in Rochester. Highly recommend. Price per person: $40–50 Dietary restrictions: Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great GF menu
