Sunday lunch with a party of four was a disaster. Three of us ordered the lamb but one portion was so tough it couldn't be eaten, the two other portions were similar but slightly better. When this was pointed out to the staff we asked for the lamb to be replaced with pork, due to the menu stating " endless" meat we thought that shouldn't be a problem but the pork didn't turn up for another 10-15 minutes by which time the vegetables had been eaten and everyone else had finished. The helping of pork received was a single slice on a plate smaller than a saucer!!! We were going to have dessert but decided not to after that experience. Upon pointing out the problems at the till we were told that nobody else had complained but we're offered a 10% discount ( the same as any local could get with a loyalty card) Totally dissatisfied and will not be returning. We had a fabulous evening, comfortable surroundings and nice ambience. Excellent food and wine to compliment. The whole team were very knowledgeable and the service impeccable... definitely a place to visit, well done The Coach House at Kentisbury Grange...
