The food was awesome. Feels like an old school chippy. We had two battered sausages that were huge and very crispy and the chips were really nice! We ordered through their website, it was super simple and quick and picked up 10 mins later. Would recommend! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely the best fish and chips, mushy peas, and curry sauce. The chips are super fresh, the fish lightly battered, and omg, that curry sauce is to die for. And to top it all off, a smashing crew behind the counter. Roll on, Fish Friday. Price per person: £1–10

It was my first time visiting the Cod Cafe since it was done up. My friend and I had the January special of fish and chips. I had mushy peas with mine and a lovely cup of tea. The batter on the fish was light and crispy. Not greasy at all. And proper home made chips as opposed to frozen chips. There are three tables with chairs to eat your food in the cafe if you want. Everything looks clean and new. All the staff were lovely and friendly. There was a steady stream of customers coming through the door. Who were served very quickly. You can call ahead to order your food. Well worth a visit. We will definitely be back. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
