This is a simple street side coffee shack along High Street in the town centre of Renwick that is open from 5am to 12pm on weekdays, closed on weekends. Prices are reasonable, service very friendly and coffees served pretty good. We stopped by early one morning while leaving the Renwick area and had a good Long Black and Mocha, both enjoyed while we drove onward to our next destination. Coffee Shack is a good find in Renwick, especially for those with early departures seeking a cup of black. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Early morning coffee done right – absolute local legend The Coffee Shack is everything a great local coffee spot should be. Open from 5:30am (gold standard ), this place is buzzing with locals and visitors alike — always a good sign. The coffee is consistently excellent, but what really stands out is the customer service: friendly, genuine, and delivered with pride. Big kudos to the owner — classic Kiwi entrepreneur energy. Simple concept, executed brilliantly. No fuss, no ego, just quality coffee and great humans doing it well. If you’re anywhere near Renwick, this is a must-stop.
