Last night was a beautiful summer evening. We know The Commoner is open until midnight so we showed up at 10pm to enjoy a drink on their lovely patio. We were turned away with “Sorry we have already closed the patio.” We left and went somewhere else. The couple behind us in line same thing. “You’ve got to be kidding!” They said as they walked out to find an open patio. If this is a restriction from residential neighbours then I would understand. But the service staff didn’t say anything about that. They just told us “we closed the patio.” Seriously? Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
