Excellent food and much better service than you normally get at the gaijin places in Hakuba. Incredible pasta and great cocktails. I think it’s a must visit in Tsugaike. The only feedback I have is that I think the place would be better served with slightly cozier decor. Nevertheless I’ll be back for another great meal! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The Commons is clean, spacious and has an ambient and comfortable mood. The service stands out as quite impeccable. We made reservations beforehand and the hostess was cheerful, friendly and helpful with the menu. The food however, is pricey and the portions are small.
