My wife and I enjoy visiting Michelin-starred restaurants when we travel around the world, not only for the food and wine, but also for the atmosphere and the conversations with the service team. We certainly enjoyed our evening here—the wine, atmosphere, and service were all very pleasant. However, when it came to the food itself, we were not entirely convinced that it reached the level we have come to expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. At some of our favorite restaurants in Madrid, for example, a dish often makes us pause and wonder: “What ingredients and techniques did the chef use to create this depth of umami?” You can sense the thought, experimentation, and effort behind each dish. Here, while the food was enjoyable, it rarely created that same sense of curiosity or discovery. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience, but we had hoped for a little more creativity and depth from the cuisine. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

My dad and I had the best time at Marco Martini Roma celebrating his retirement! We had the tasting menu, and we were so pleasantly surprised by the chef’s take on each Italian classic. Throughout the meal, we were so excitedly anticipating the next course to see what the dish would be, and by the end of the dinner, we were both stuffed! The reimagining of each dish was so creative, and the service was just absolutely superb. Every dish and detail was explained to us, and we never felt like we required any attention because the servers anticipated every need. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion (or just wanting a great Italian meal with a twist)!
