After enjoying St. Mary's Guildhall, visit this bar which is not far away. Taste something new from the British cuisine. You can always enjoy nicely cooked fish, onion strings and roast beef - a special offer of Coventry Cross, Public House. Try good brownies, ice cream and sticky toffee pudding. Brilliant atmosphere and friendly bar staff. Doing well with social distancing rules. Favourite pub in town.

Absolutely disgusting manners from the management will definitely not be returning and will make sure that everyone knows how disgusting we were treated. Visited 15th august 2020. My friend accidentally brought a drink in from the last pub we went in, (about 2 sips left in it), we ordered our drinks from the bar and sat at the table, the other bottle was also left on the table. When the table was cleared the manager stormed over and said ‘well who’s been drinking this then’ which is fair enough, was a genuine mistake. He then proceeded to say to one of my friends ‘shut your f***** mouth you C***’ bearing in mind we are a group of 60 year old women, not drunken idiots. We were all gobsmacked and actually quite upset by this as you can imagine. We all decided to just go home as we were upset by this, suppose to be the first few hours out after lockdown, absolutely ruined!! Obviously you need to seriously think about who you have working in your establishment as this is absolutely unacceptable. WILL NOT BE RETURNING EVER!! he needs sacking and if he doesn’t more fool you because that’s a good way to loose your customers.
Very p***** off ex-customer!!!!
