We decided to eat at The Craic Irish tavern after our trip from Te Anau to Dunedin because of the good reviews. I opted for the nachos with the vegetarian option. I told the young man at the bar several times that I wanted the vegetarian option. When the food arrived, I saw that there was chilli con carne on the nachos after all. At first I thought that it was veggie mince after all. A careful taste test revealed - real meat... I spoke to the same employee again and asked if the topping was vegetarian. He looked at the plate and lied to my face, saying: "Yes, it's veggie". This behaviour is outrageous. never again! There was nothing wrong with the beer. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian order contained meat. When I raised the issue, I was informed that it was supposed to be vegetarian, but this was not the case 99.9% of the time. Price per person: NZ$30–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
