I know it sounds a bit strange going to fish and chip restaurant in Zante(Tsilivi) but the the food was amazing, the cod was cooked perfectly, soft yet flaky and the starters were just as good, I can imagine they get busy in peak season but this place is well worth going to, they also do takeaway. Price per person: €35–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really enjoyed our evening at The Crispy Catch. The restaurant is lovely inside, clean and fresh with a delightful fishy themed mural on the feature wall ( see if you can count how many octopus there are). The menu is simple and I really liked that. There's nothing worse than going for a meal and being presented with a menu the size of an encyclopedia Britannica! Simple is refreshing. This is a serious restaurant and not a chippy and I think there's a big difference. It's great food cooked fresh and not a fast food takeaway. We opted for traditional cod and chips as we fancied a change from Greek meats and breads. The cod was light and fluffy inside and the batter was light and crispy on the outside, absolutely perfect. I absolutely loved the hand cut chips. They reminded me of Thursday nights as a kid when Mum would do the two of us chips as a treat because Dad was working. The curry sauce and mushy peas accompaniments were terrific. too. A great restaurant with great food and staffed by friendly welcoming people and Anna was the perfect host. fantastic service. food excellent. the batter was so thin & crispy. the fish was glossy and flaky and the chips are hand cut and well cooked. hubbie had battered sausages and they too were tasty & well cooked. Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
