We had a wonderful stay for our engagement evening and everything was made so extra special by our stay here. Here is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The rooms are wonderful and cosy, with everything maintained to the highest quality. Every dish during dinner and breakfast was exceptional and we couldn’t believe that they could all taste so good. Service was brilliant and Robert in particular was very friendly and accommodating even allowing us to change our day of arrival due to bad weather. We cannot recommend this place enough! If you are considering booking, just do it and you will not regret! Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic

The Dipping Lugger in Ullapool was a must-visit on our brief 1-night "babymoon" escape. The restaurant's charming exterior and inviting interior, which I had admired online for months, did not disappoint in person. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to a personalised and memorable dining experience. The owner, Robert, greeted us warmly, even remembering my name from the reservation. The staff were attentive throughout the evening, taking extra care to accommodate my pregnancy-related dietary restrictions. They swapped out a few ingredients for pregnancy-safe options, explaining each change clearly. The scallops, cooked to perfection, were a highlight, even with a few modifications. The non-alcoholic pairing menu was a pleasant surprise. The creative cocktails and mock wines were delicious and paired well with the food, ensuring I didn't feel left out while my husband enjoyed his alcoholic beverages. The food itself was exceptional. The menu is a surprise, with each course offering a unique culinary experience. The homemade hobnob with Fat Cow cheese was a standout, and I'm already plotting how to recreate it at home. The dessert was equally impressive, and my pregnancy cravings had me wishing for seconds (or thirds). Overall, the Dipping Lugger exceeded our expectations. We're already planning a return trip to Ullapool after our little one arrives, eager to explore the area and, of course, indulge in another fantastic meal at the Dipping Lugger.
