First time here, went for dinner. Big place only one other small group here. It's off season so, "this is the way". Had a fish & chips meal (mahi mahi) which was nice & well cooked. Fish portions were smaller than expected, but okay. Prices are almost double Vietnam, which was a bit of a shock. Converted was about $25NZD for a beer & meal. Might need to watch my cash...

The Doctor's House is a fantastic place with a unique atmosphere, and stunning ocean views. The vibe is lively and relaxing at the same time, making it perfect for spending an evening with friends or family. The beachfront setting, music, and overall ambience make it a must-visit spot in Sri Lanka. Also Wednesday night party must visit.

Very disappointing experience. The service is poorly managed, as guests are required to walk to the counter to place orders for food and drinks instead of being attended to properly. The staff were arrogant and lacked basic courtesy when interacting with guests. Interestingly, during their introduction, they mentioned that they are not from the hospitality industry. Unfortunately, that becomes quite evident in the overall service experience. A proper understanding of hospitality and guest relations would go a long way in improving this place. I feel this venue is overly hyped compared to what it actually offers. If you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy good service, or have a great party experience, there are much better options available. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Service: 1
