They have excellent service. Be sure to visit the sauce bar as well as the free dessert! If u like hotpot I'd definitely recommend this place. I wouldn't say their menu is too diverse but it has all the classics for hotpot. I enjoyed the set menu and the variety of items that came with it like the meat and veggies. U also get to choose between rice or noodles and whichever one u pick you get an unlimited amount of it! (So don't be thrown off by the tiny bowl of noodles u see lol) When you're done, don't forget to ask for the complimentary ice cream! Ps, they also have very nice reusable bags that I asked for! The service was very very good

Came with a party of seven. I've been to the Kingsway location twice and this was my first time at the station square one. Mostly similar but no all you can eat after nine, which I knew ahead of time. They do offer "happy hour" which gives a twenty percent discount late night. Always good quality foods, very clean and excellent service. I've never had a bad experience and will continue to come back.

A new addition to the upscaled hot pot restaurant in Richmond, The Dolar Shop Burnaby is a gorgeous and convenient option for when you're not willing to trek all the way to Richmond, but still wanting that quality service, food, and experience! The Dolar Shop is one of those restaurants that's comparable to HaiDiLao in every way possible. Featuring fantastic quality, food and service that's consistent across all locations, I find that The Dolar Shop is not only more worth it for the price point in comparison to HaiDiLao, but also features two different vibes that fit basically all occasions. Whether you're visiting for a fancy night out with friends, a special celebration, or just simply for some hot pot comfort food, The Dolar Shop is the place to be! I've always had a wonderful experience whenever I visit. The broth options are all very flavorful and have just the right balance of spices to it. They have plenty of options at the sauce bar, and I love the tableside service of the servers make the Dolar Shop signature sauce for you as well. The quality of the meat and various veggies are always consistently fresh and their unlimited soft serve option at the end of your meal really takes the cake. Everything is always delicious there, and they even have fruit and kimchi to balance out the "yeet hay" meal. The servers are always very polite as well and you can tell that they really take the time to satisfy every customer that walks through the door. Overall, The Dolar Shop has always been my favorite and one of my go-to upscaled hot pot restaurants. Their Happy Hour Promotion (20% discount) make it all the worthwhile to visit and their friendly servers really make the experience overall as well. I highly recommend everyone to visit The Dolar Shop!
