Service from the "manager" was really poor and seemed like she didnt want a party of 10 turning up for Sunday lunch despite the place being practically empty. Food in general pretty tasteless. Wouldn't go back I'm afraid. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £10–20

Went in Droppingwell on Monday 29th June at 7 o’clock with my partner Son & his wife and my daughter and her husband. It was a bit of a special night as my son had come from Norway to visit us we spent well over £200 on food and drinks The food was nice and well served At 9 o’clock we were told it was last orders at the bar We left the room at about 9-45 We were in the pub car park when a young girl came out and told us we were not allowed in the car park as the pub was now closed We have visited the Droppingwell for over 30 years when it used to be the Drawbridge but never ever been told I had to leave the car park I will certainly be thinking twice before going back.
