I hate to give a negative review. My husband and I had fish pies in The Dunmore at the end of June 2026. It was an exceptionally hot day, and I recall that I left some of the fish uneaten as it tasted quite strong. We were both sick afterwards, me for two days. When I spoke with the manager he apologised and said in a follow up email that he would refund our meal. When the refund didn’t arrive after a week, I emailed The Dunmore and received no reply. After another 10 days, I emailed again and once more, I received no reply. I phoned another 10 days or so after that and spoke with a staff member, who said she would ask the manager to respond. Again, there was no response. It’s now been almost 2 months since we ate there. The food poisoning was awful, and being ignored subsequently made it worse. We posted a poor review elsewhere this week (end of August) and - we finally received an email from The Dunmore offering to arrange the refund. Not good.
