The place has changed since my last vist and must be under different management. Food was not as good as before and they were out of a couple things (Scotch Eggs). Serving staff was terrible, only wiped half the table down for me. I invited some friends that have never been before and they were not impressed. Ordered bangers and mash. The bangers were undercooked, the mash tasted like they were instant instead of real. Brought food with no silverware and had to go asked for some along with napkins. Was not impressed, they need new some management or new management. Drinks were ok they ran out of the featured drink the Mandarin Smash. Price per person: $100+ Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

First time visiting Folsom, and honestly so far I have not been very impressed when it comes to food. I've only found overpriced basic food. That all changed when I visited the fat rabbit public house. After a long day in Folsom I stopped by and ordered the smash burger with 2 patties and bacon. I have not yet finished it however my thoughts are clear. Good burger, I don't think you needed two patties but the bacon is a must. In fact I'd prefer a little more bacon. The more the better. Tomatoes and onions also really bring it together. The bun itself was my least favorite, I would have enjoyed a firmer bun. As well as some sort of mayo or special sauce on the burger and on the side with the fries. The fries were good as well, I added some salt and had them with ketchup. Very delicious. I enjoyed eating here. Easy to order, nice service and the food came out fast.
