We stopped by The Fish Basket on our way back from Pictured Rocks and were pleasantly surprised. The owner was so friendly and we really enjoyed talking to him as we waited for our order. He made us a batch of fish and fries which tasted very fresh and was perfectly seasoned with their special seasoning. We left extremely happy that we got to experience the food and discover this hidden gem! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Super fresh fried Whitefish. Great fries. It's a food stand with some local charm. If the deli next store is closed you can eat this lovely fish in the brew pub around the corner.
