I was told this was the best fish and chips in the harbour area, but I was very disappointed. The fish itself was ok, but the batter on it was limp and soggy. First bite oil dripped on my lip and burned a little. Not a real burn, but it still hurt. After that, the batter was limp and uncooked against the fish. Some friends of ours had been to another fish and chips place and then to this one, and they said the other one was way better. Unfortunately, I doubt I will be back here to give them another try since I won't be back here in a long time, and I will definitely be trying the other option with the better review. The staff were nice, and the atmosphere was great. It is pretty hard to beat a good meal on the docks. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $20–30

Don’t miss this place! They let me order half mussels and half clams - it was probably my favorite meal on our ten day trip across the PNW. There was a teeny snafu with my order- which is why the photo is missing the clams and mussels… but, they quickly fixed it and it was excellent. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $10–20

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "The Fish Store - Seafood Restaurant! I can't wait to go again! The service was good, the wait was not long at all, and they had no problem accommodating a special order request. Everything was fresh, crisp, and, so delicious! You can tell that those who prepare the food care by the presentation of the meals! I saw a few reviews saying the food was expensive but I disagree. Seafood is expensive everywhere and I have never had anything that tasted this good! For the $20-$30 range it is so worth it in compared to other restaurants serving Seafood. You will be full and very satisfied when you leave. So GO and Check it out soon Thank you to all the Staff! I will be telling people and coming back for sure.
