The oxtail itself was genuinely enjoyable and clearly the strongest aspect of my visit to Caribbean Flavors. Unfortunately, the standard of customer service was markedly less impressive and detracted considerably from what could otherwise have been a very positive experience. The member of staff who served me did not smile once throughout the interaction and came across as noticeably disengaged and unwelcoming. Good customer service does not require excessive enthusiasm, but basic warmth, attentiveness and a willingness to engage with customers should be a reasonable expectation within any hospitality establishment. I was also particularly surprised when I asked what ingredients were in the fruit punch and how it was made, only to be told that she did not know. If a business is selling a particular drink, I would expect the staff serving it to have at least a rudimentary understanding of what it contains, especially given that customers may be asking for reasons relating to allergies, dietary requirements or personal preference. If a staff member does not know, the appropriate response would surely be to offer to find out. There was also an unnecessary lack of clarity surrounding the pricing. I understood the advertised £10 price to refer to a meal, whereas this apparently related only to a portion. At no stage was I asked whether I wanted the oxtail on its own or as part of a meal, nor were the available options and corresponding prices clearly explained to me. This made the ordering process needlessly ambiguous and could easily have been avoided through basic communication. Ultimately, the food was good, and I enjoyed the oxtail. However, good food alone does not constitute a good hospitality experience. Clear communication, product knowledge and courteous customer service are equally important. Unfortunately, those elements were distinctly lacking during my visit. I would consider returning for the food, but I sincerely hope the standard of customer service improves.

Today I have bought 2 portions of Jerk Chicken (2- pieces of Jerk chicken by itself) and I have taken this order at different locations by different restaurants and this particular restaurant is a ripoff where they have charged 19£ which was really disappointing and greed for just 2 pieces and they haven’t even advertised it. What in earth that chicken is made of they are literally a ripoff and I really don’t suggest people to fall for their prices as they are more greedy than the actual worth. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I ordered from Deliveroo for the first time today and I am super impressed. First impressions was how hot the food was when it came, it was piping hot which was fantastic, as if it was freshly made. I ordered curry chicken which was the star of the show for me, it was delicious and just how I like it. The jerk chicken was good as well. The portions by the way...absolutely fantastic and MASSIVE portions as the curry chicken could've fed 2 people. I am very critical when it comes to food but Caribbean flavours has massively exceeded my expectations and I am looking forward to ordering next! Big shout out to the people running it! Food: 5
