I wanted good meat. I know brisket is a challenge to get right, so I tested them by ordering brisket which melted in my mouth as it fell off the fork being so tender. A+ I now have a lunch place I can rely on. This is some seriously good barbecue! I won’t claim to be a BBQ expert, but my parents did own and operate a BBQ food truck in Wisconsin for over 15 years (Mr. Tony’s BBQ) and I’ve had BBQ from all over the country. Every cut of meat I had at The Forge Food Smith (chicken, pork, brisket) had a wonderful smoke flavor, was seasoned to perfection, tender and juicy, and a beautiful smoke ring. The mac n cheese and homemade tater tots were phenomenal. Staff and owner super friendly and quick service. Damn good BBQ and will continue to come back for more!
