IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULD!! Wow, where to even begin. Came to this restaurant while attending an event in Lubbock and received some of the worst service I’ve experienced in the city of Lubbock. We decided to visit the restaurant for their brunch and arrived at 11:05AM, ordered an appetizer that we waited to receive for over an hour (our appetizer arrived at our table at 12:30PM), my meal arrived 30 minutes later and was completely wrong. The whole entire situation made me lose my appetite and I returned the meal to the manager to have it comped. One member of our party had ordered a hot cup of coffee when our drink orders were taken and that coffee arrived 45mins into our meal and was as cold as tap water. Now let’s get to the service. We barely received refills and only got refills when we asked which is really sad to see for a restaurant of this caliber. Get older servers that are competent or train your waitstaff better. They blamed the wait on food on a backed up kitchen but this restaurant was nowhere near the busy levels of a brunch restaurant. See I wouldn’t have had such a terrible experience if management knew how to handle the situation properly but what can you expect from a college kid given the responsibility to handle a whole entire establishment. Best thing at this restaurant was walking out of the door. Don’t sour your day by going here, go spend your money and your TIME at the Great American if you’re looking for something nice. 10/10 service, food, and ambiance!!
