We met up with some friends Friday night for dinner.  The atmosphere was very relaxed. There was a guy on the corner playing music and he made our time on the street front patio good. The place offers a host (2 pages) of Ales, lagers and micro brews.  They offer four 5 oz flights for your choosing. For starters we had the sliders and pretzel roll with a grainy mustard.  Both paired well with my flights. The meals ordered among the group: Grilled Cheese with sautéed mushrooms.  Battered Cod and Chips and the Special Hot Chicken with sides of Mac & Cheese and Baked Beans. The two who had the Grilled cheese enjoyed it but did not finish.  As one person said after a while you lose interest in eating it. The Cod & Chips was tasty and a clean plate was handed back The Nashville Hot chicken had the perfect crust however the chicken itself was not seasoned.  The meat tasted bland.  The beans were good and so was the Mac & Cheese.  I guess that and the spotty service was a bit of downer.   When getting the machine to pay the tip was set at 18% which it seems is now standard. The fact that we only one visit for drinks after the meal was disappointing. Many of the people at our table wanted their empty glasses refilled.

Came here for an early dinner.  We were promptly attended to and seated as requested on the patio.   I' a newbie to beer drinking.  Tried 2 of their craft beer:  Borland Roe Ale - I enjoyed this.  It is not overpowering. It even tasted good when it wasn't as cold.  Also the City of Dreams Vienna beer - this was also good, but I preferred the Borland. Started off with a Charcouterie board.  This was very good.  The items on the board was a good variation to the usual cold cuts.  It had 2 types of cheese, salami, sausage, warm fried bacon slabs, bread (could use more), pickled items and strawberries.  It was yummy. We then had the beef dip, as recommended by the waiter.  This was good.  The meat on it's own could be seasoned a bit more though.  The dip was just ok.  Tasted like packaged.  The Fries were done well.  There was gravy - OK. Service was good.  The server was very attentive. It was a very pleasant experience.
