The room I had was worse than a premier Inn and cost more. The food I had was nowhere near worth what the price was and the service was mediocre at best apart from the lovely receptionist who tried her hardest. The only reason this place is open. It's because it makes it killing off people walking and there's nowhere else to stay. If possible I would try and avoid it unless they make big changes. This place is not worth the money you pay and is a big disappointment. Only reason I gave it two stars and not one. It's because it did feed me and the breakfast was ok and the room was usable. I stayed at the George hotel on the 05/05/2024-07/05/2024. Me and my mum had a really nice time. The first night we ate in the restaurant. The food was really nice we had a Sunday roast. On Monday we had breakfast and it was really good food. On Monday night we ate from the bar. We had burgers and salt and chilli fries the food was really nice. The room was a nice and clean. We upgraded our room, we had two single beds. The shower was good. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is a nice place to go walking and the pool is good for relaxing. I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back. It was a really relaxed environment and everyone was friendly. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet
