My girlfriend and I tried The George out for the first time in Downtown Naperville. The atmosphere is super neat! It felt like upscale cigar lounge! The service was fine, nothing to write home about but not bad by any means. The food was delicious! I had the prime rib dip and it was juicy, savory, melty, and everything you would want in a dip. My girlfriend had the house burger which came with a bacon onion jam.. let me tell you.. this burger combination was outstanding! We shared the spam fries and they were exactly what you would expect lol, fun to try but a one time order. We each had a mocktail. She had a gin and tonic, and I had an espresso martini. Both were good, but nothing special. Then we get to the "piece de resistance".. dessert! We had the sticky toffee pudding a la mode. It was transcendent! Warm and gooey, sweet and salty, exactly what you would want in a perfect dessert!
