We've been to the George for family weekend lunches several times since it reopened. The new owners are doimg a brilliant job. The food is varied, tasty, and reasonably priced, and cooked fresh. Nothing is too much trouble, and they easily cater for veggies, fussy kids, and vegans- vegan dishes are great as long as they have 24hrs notice to prepare something. A lovely family pub.
