UPDATE @ BOTTOM based on owners response to my review: I wish there was a 3.5 star option because I am torn on this place. The atmosphere was cozy and the place was clean. The bartender was chill and kind so no complaints there. My partner and I dont drink so we went for a quick snack based on the online menu we previously inspected. What went wrong? 1. One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is when online pricing does not reflect the actual menu. It isnt that hard to update so it feels like intentional false advertising. We ordered the salami sandwich - and it was $3 more each than advertised - along with everything else on the menu being more expensive! 2. I asked for no mustard and the bartender told me the sandwiches are pre-made - i said "you charge $15 for a premade sandwich?" In which he replied "yes, but we make them here". Okay... not being able to customize simple ingredients automatically warrants the price being less than $10 bucks in my opinion. So the sandwiches arent fresh, they are simply warmed on a panini press. It was good- but not $15 dollars good. 3. Sandwiches do come with "chips and a pickle" but when a pub says "chips" its generally actually fries - so I was less than thrilled to realize it was a TINY handful of corn chips and a mini pickle .. still NOT upping the portion or thrill enough to warrant the high price. I watched him prepare other "snacks" for patrons, ALL of the portions were small and highly overpriced - Im talking $10 bucks for 5 crackers and dip that literally fit in the tiny silver containers you generally serve salad dressing in.. I cant say anything about the drinks other than we shared a can of $4 root beer. The place, the service, the food and the environment are not bad - but the owner is wildly overcharging and under -portioning and its just not that cool of an experience in my opinion. I wasnt anticipating spending $40 with tip for a warmed up snack. UPDATE: - the Google "menu" button is what we referenced (the FIRST thing people see when they search the Gibson)- the Google photos/ menu are outdated - most people prefer to use the quick "menu" button vs going to the actual website. - I literally started my review by saying my partner and I DON'T drink - and the owner's response was to tell me to come back and try the cocktails soo I should flush 15 months of sobriety down the toilet because your biz is only good for its cocktails? Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Hi Hollie, I'm sorry you didn't have the best experience. Our menu on our web-site has been up to date. Maybe you referenced from somewhere else? And yes, we do pre make our sandwiches. We are a small cocktail bar with a small staff, therefore we don't make everything on the spot. As for prices, we charge accordingly with the ingredients we buy from our purveyors. And I'm positive the staff would have given more chips on request. Either way, we did not meet your standards, and we always strive to be better. Please try some of our cocktails next time if you give us another chance. The Gibson
