My friend asked me if I wanted to go out for food and suggested they fancied a "Glenny" not knowing what a "Glenny" was I said sure "what's a Glenny", it's the Glencairn lounge near the bridge in Dumbarton was her reply, I've heard so many positive things about the Glencairn from friends and it makes me wonder why I hadn't been sooner. And they didn't disappoint. On arrival, they were busy and asked if we had booked? of course, going somewhere on a whim we hadn't, but they managed to squeeze us in, Our food was amazing it's true what people have told me and the staff were very friendly, highly recommend but phone in advance as can get really busy. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Steak Pie and Chips

Visit on a Monday Night in May 2022 it was absolutely amazing, food excellent the Chicken Enchilladas and Trimmings were superb and my Mums Chicken Fajitas were the best ordered along with a side order of Onion Rings, could not manage dessert, but managed to carry out a portion of Rhubarb Crumble & Creamy Custard for both of us which was delicous. Will becoming back soon. This is an amazing resturant, hidden gem in Dumbarton
