These guys need to stop playing loud music after 11pm through the pub garden speakers and start doing their bottle recycling outside of the statutory noise nuisance hours. Atmosphere: 1

The Good Reader is an excellent gastropub with a relaxed atmosphere and genuinely welcoming service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and quick, making it an easy place to settle in and enjoy a meal or a few drinks. One of its standout features is the large outdoor terrace, complete with a TV, making it a great spot to watch football or other sporting events. They offer a very good selection of draft beers, and the food is a step above what you might expect from a traditional pub. It has a true gastropub feel, with quality dishes and a menu that’s well worth exploring. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch, dinner, or just a pint, The Good Reader combines excellent food, good beers, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere.
