See Masjid Al-Salam Mosque by default, the clients' recommendation is to come to this restaurant as well. Do not delay your visit – seriously, Greek and Mediterranean cuisines are waiting for you. Here people can delve deep into delicious dishes, and order nicely cooked filet américain, sushi and steaks. The Grand offers delicious wine among its drinks.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and unfortunately the entire experience was deeply disappointing, especially considering the prices and the fact that this is presented as a five-star hotel restaurant. The reservation was made via email and it was clearly mentioned that it was a birthday celebration. My partner even called in advance and politely requested that the dessert be served with a candle as a small surprise. Not only was this completely ignored, but there was also no acknowledgment whatsoever from the staff. Despite there being available tables in much nicer areas, we were placed at one of the worst tables in the restaurant, near the entrance, which immediately affected the atmosphere of the evening. The experience started badly from the moment we arrived. The doorman/valet staff was indifferent to borderline rude. He refused to take my car or even unlock the main entrance door for us, sarcastically telling me to “go from the side entrance.” This is unacceptable behavior for any hospitality venue, let alone one positioning itself as luxury. The food itself was equally disappointing. The dishes were poorly presented, lacked quality, and were absolutely not worth the extremely high prices charged. Service throughout the evening felt careless and inattentive. What made the whole “premium” image even more confusing was the complete absence of any atmosphere or standards you would expect from such a venue. There was supposedly no dress code, with guests wearing flip-flops and beach shorts, which made the entire place feel more like a casual tourist spot than a luxury dining experience. If a restaurant wants to charge premium prices and market itself as a luxury destination, then the service, food quality, attention to detail, and overall experience should reflect that. Sadly, this place failed on every level. I would not return and certainly would not recommend it for any special occasion. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We spent about 4x what you spend in a good Greek reataurant for a food that was far away from good quality. We truely regretted having eaten there despite the gorgeous view to the Acropolis Price per person: €50+ Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We had dinner with friends at the rooftop restaurant of the Grand Hyatt Athens, and it was fantastic from start to finish. The view alone is worth the visit — the Acropolis glowing in the distance, the warm evening breeze, and the rooftop bar setting that feels straight out of a travel magazine. I ordered the tenderloin for two, not realizing just how massive it would be — and honestly, it ended up being one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, even by American standards. Perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and more than enough to share. I also had the quinoa salad, which I don’t usually go for, but it turned out surprisingly good and balanced the meal nicely. The highlight of the night, though, wasn’t just the food or the view — it was the bartender, Philip (Φίλιππος in Greek). He was exceptional. I love talking to people, and he was as engaging as he was skilled behind the bar. We had long, thoughtful conversations that ranged from travel to philosophy, and it honestly elevated the whole evening. My wife asked for Malibu — which they didn’t have — and by the next day, they had actually ordered it in just for her. That kind of service and kindness is almost unheard of these days. Philip truly embodies Greek hospitality: warm, genuine, and proud of what he does. He’s the kind of person who makes you want to come back — not just for the view, but for the experience. If you’re staying at the Grand Hyatt or just visiting Athens, go up to The Grand Rooftop, ask for Philip, and enjoy a night you’ll remember. Price per person: €40–45 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
