Take a break and eat nicely cooked fillet steaks, tartare and oysters. Good berliner, parfait and che have a pleasant taste. A lot of visitors order delicious malbec, bitter or rum. This place offers good espresso among its drinks.

Recommend everything we tried: Asparagus menu is superb. Steaks equally so. French fires with truffles mayo over-the-moon. Risotto excellent. Service was cheerful and efficient and fun. And the atmosphere is best described at historic-chic--really unusual. Made us feel good about being in Berlin. Thank you.

What was nicely done by the designers and decorators is undone by the service. Ok if invited for a large event or such. Would skip otherwise.

The Grand was a terrible experience. Our waiter, Mateusz, was the Grinch (Spielverderber) of Christmas. We made reservations to dine here to celebrate Christmas Eve at 8:00pm. There was only one waiter who served us. His service was terrible and he was extremely rude. He didn't listen when he took our order and got it all wrong. The beer came first and it was not what we ordered. When we told him, he was frustrated with us and attempted to grabbed the beers away angrily. The result was beer splashing on all of us and all over the table. We waited more than an hour for our food to be served. The entire night we had minimal interaction with our waiter. When it was time to pay the bill, we kindly asked if we could split the bill. He wrote down what we wanted to split, but when he brought the bill over, it was split incorrectly. We told him again, but we can see his frustration building again by the billing machine and telling his co-workers how annoyed he was with us. He finally came back with one bill and said "I don't have time for this, I'm very busy, you have to pay in one bill". We left the restaurant not knowing what we did to deserve this rude and terrible service. It ruined our Christmas Eve.
