Firstly congratulations on the engagement, however yes the owner of the business did politely "respectfully decline to accept the booking" for the wedding reception. Although understandably this could seem unfair, it is as a business our right to do so. Our reservation to quote for the booking was then proved correct after you re-entering the restaurant declaring "we're never coming back to this s**t hole". As you say you have been in a few times before, & it is on these occasions our stuff have had numerous issues with children running riot upsetting other customers. Staff politely asked them to remain seated at the table & asked the adults of the group, but sadly to no avail. Staff have also found members of the group rude & intimidating on several occasions. It is on these grounds alone this booking was declined. Here at The Gun we welcome all, we wouldn't have even known of the travelling background, had you not drawn attention to it here. Implying that we are discriminating in anyway could be considered slander & libel. Payment of the £150 was for goods & services received at the time of visit & irrelevant of the booking.
