I would never buy another houseplant in Simpsons again!!!! I have had plants in my house for over 40 years and never had an infestation in my house!!!! I never had a plant in my bathroom so stopped one day and bought and ivy. Lovely healthy plant. Only plant in the bathroom. Next morning small flies all in my bathroom. Used the vinegar method, fly killer and even cinnamon on top off the soil. I could not see them in pot but they are in the soil! Before I knew it they were everywhere in the house!! Even in all my plants!!! I put daisy stickers on all the windows and had to change every one daily. I even put a cutting off them in the pots and that's when you saw them!!! They were covered. Abs disgusting!! Few days before Xmas I ended up throwing all my lovely plants out as inside the ceramic pots there were loads off them and larvae which means I would have it all again. Xmas day with family here for dinner I was mortified!!! Still there and all the new stickers I put on windows on Xmas Eve still had at least 6-8 flies on them. Simpsons have said there is nothing on the other plants but I'm sure if they put stickers in pots they would see them. I also should have taken plant back but to be honest I thought I could sort it myself and they were already in the house!!! No proof it came from their plant yet only plant in bathroom. Oh and they can refund me for the £3.99!!!!! For the plant which is an abs joke!!!! Itried to put the pictures off stickers up but it wouldn't work on the website. Sure tripadvisor and Facebook will let me do it though so if you want to see they will be there. As usual places like this are quick to take your money but when you complain you get nowhere and don't accept responsibility. They were supposed to call after I complained before Xmas but never so had to call them. Don't care! Don't give a crap about customers and I am plant free in my house after years and years off houseplant all for a £3.99 plant. I'm abs disgusted and will never be in their shop again!!!

Had to come out to this part of Aberdeenshire to collect our dog from the kennels so decided to have breakfast out. Chose Simpsons as it was convenient and looked good on here.
So pleased we came - lovely breakfast and coffee. Staff were lovely and such good value. We'll be back.

Soup was a bowl or coloured liquid . Absolutely awful . Should have complained but as we were with our visitors we didn’t want to make a scene . Scone and coffee was ok hence one star . Won’t visit again
