If you are traveling through Alabama and you are close or close-ish to Mentone, this is a stop worth making. This is not just a place to eat, it is an experience. It's a whimsical tea party and the food is very good. Good ol' southern cooking. This would be a perfect place to have a little girl's birthday party. We ate lunch here. I had the meatloaf and it was hot and delicious. The service was great and it was so much fun looking at all the creative decor. Look for the mouse doors. There are two. Open them. It will be fun! The Hatter Cafe is one of the cutest places ever! I've been a cpl of times already. The last time I went was Mother's Day 2021. They are wonderful people, food is great & the place has such a cozy feel. You can rent the rooms also. I can't wait to go back & check out the new place they are building out beside it (I think it may be the gift shop) If you haven't tried it, you're missing out!
