Love the atmosphere. Love the artisan cheeses. Disappointed in lunch. while the French onion soup was tasty, the half sandwich left much to be desired. It was all baguette with little filling. I ordered the bacon/pear/kunik - very little of each!

Went for a late lunch with a group of 8 people without a reservation. They accomodated us without any difficulty. The server managed the group with ease and efficiency. She was also friendly. They sent out a grilles cheese sandwich that was so badly burnt it was inedible. They replaced it with a perfect grilled cheese but really shouldn't have even sent the first one out. Otherwise a great experience. Lots of good food. The cheeses are amazing. It's obvious why they're award winning. No visit to the Hitching Post is complete without a visit to the store for cheese to take home. Dietary restrictions: Most items have cheese in them, however there were some dairy free items on the menu. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Yesterday we had a birthday brunch at The Hitching Post/Nettle Meadow for 33 people. It was amazing! Rachel was wonderful to work with! The food was scrumptious! Beautiful cheese board. Love the truffle kunik! Pumpkin soup amazing! Service outstanding! Mary was so anticipatory of all our needs. We can’t thank her enough! Truly a five star event. Many family from out of town had never been to The Hitching Post/Nettle Meadow and were quite impressed with the warm welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!
