Food, service, and hospitality were top-notch! The wood burner added a warm touch, and our dog was very cozy too. Highly recommended – will definitely be back for another visit! EDIT: Checked our receipt following the visit, and we were overcharged for a small fish and chips which went through as a daily special... Unfortunate that we didn't notice at the time so it could have been resolved.

We visited this place whilst on holiday & found it to be a beautiful place, which served great beer & absolutely fantastic food. They also welcomed our 3 dogs in (one is very big) without the slightest concern. We'll definitely be visiting this place again before the end of our holiday. Service: 5

We booked the Hood Arms for lunch on the way to our weekend away on a Friday. We liked it so much we went back with the whole family for Sunday lunch. Amazing roast; kids menu and deserts. All top. Big bonus for the Beer Garden where kids could run around and very Dog friendly (dog shower and beds!). Ideally after a country walk. Definitely recommend! Service: 5 Location: 5
