A delicious meal. We had the water buffalo tar tar, fried smelts, duck, trout, peanut butter ice cream bar and blueberry custard dessert.  We also had a beer and iced tea. The water buffalo tar tar was delicious. Completely unique and unlike a traditionally tar tar, it was spicy and sweet. The duck was a wonderful combination of flavours and perfectly seared. These were two dishes I'd go back to eat. The trout and fried smelt were good but not the most memorable dishes. The blueberry dessert was really refreshing and unique. The service from Laura (First half of meal) was really wonderful, made us feel at home - I think she's an owner? The other servers weren't as attentive or friendly, more on the average side of service, but still good! If your in PEC, it's worth a visit. Just fresh local ingredients. Doesn't try to be over pretentious, just delicious food. Total was $117 before tax, great price for what we ordered. During high season or weekends, you'll definitely need a reservation.

This place really took me by surprise! As I was googling places to eat in PEC, The Hubb kept coming up on lists. I checked out the menu online and overall I wasn't very impressed - didn't seem overly exciting. But since we were staying at Angeline's Inn, I thought at least it was a convenient place for dinner. Well damn was I surprised. The food here is fantastic! Each dish was cooked to perfection, seasoned impeccably and wonderful portion sizes. The lobster and grits were phenomenal (could have used a bit more lobster but then again who wouldn't say that) - comfort food at its finest. I ordered the halibut as my main and it was cooked perfectly with a crispy skin. Dessert was a lighter than air sponge cake. Definitely worth checking out!

My partner and I went here for dinner during our trip to PEC.   The food was very good, we ordered a couple of small plates to share + our mains and dessert.  The service was great, especially for a friday night (we got to the restaurant around 8pm in which it was packed), and the drink selection for beer (mostly bottled) and mixed drinks was decent.  Bonus is if you stay at Angelines Inn, its just a quick walk to your room.
