Honest David's reviews. Oh dear, what a poor little pub. There were only 4 people in the pub the whole time we were there , two of which were us. They had three TVs on, all on different channels and playing music that they liked rather that the customers. They said they had sky sports, but this was turned right down... Then went off!!! Poor choice of beers, but not over priced. This could be a nice pub if it had some money spent on it, but I guess the brewery doesn't want to. Such a shame. 2**from me this time... I'll try again on a better day.

Sir, Poor little pub??..I can't see what you describe as poor, our furnishings are in excellent condition along with the decor and I'm very proud of our lovely wooden floors and The Inkerman can seat 50+ inside plus standing room, let alone the front outside seating and our large back garden, so little is a wrong description. 4 people..all pubs have quiet days and people do tend to get upset if you try to drag them off the street. We have one screen down by the pool table, which we manage to squeeze in our "little" pub, which is always on free sports as does the screen over the fireplace as we haven't had Sky sports for four years and you certainly weren't told that we had Sky sports. The screen in the middle shows the videos of the music channel that is being played, we normally have the 70's channel on and looking at your photo I would have thought this era would suit you and if it doesn't we have a Jukebox which automatically cuts out the TV and also plays a random song every 15 minutes. Our Beer selection may be small however all top brands, Carlsberg, Coors, Guinness, Birra Moretti, Aspalls cider and Adnams Ghostship and all sell very well. We also have a wide range of bottled items, premium spirits and wines. The Inkerman is not owned by a "Brewery" it belongs to a Pub Co and we rent the property and run the business independently. The last two years with the pandemic have been extremely tough for us and we literally have kept the roof over heads and the business going by the skin of our teeth...So thanks for your review, it really made our day..NOT!! If you do pay us a 2nd visit I suggest you bring your glasses and a hearing aid. Have a happy and sunshiney day!!
