I'll keep this simple: this was one of the worst café experiences I've had in Sydney. After waiting 30 minutes for a Full Irish Breakfast, with no proper explanation, I had to ask the staff member where it was. She seemed surprised. There was literally us and 2 others in the cafe! The food, when it finally came, was an embarrassment. The rashers were dried out beyond recognition. The eggs were awful. The beans were cold. And the soda bread tasted unmistakably like it had been pulled from a freezer and defrosted, a sin against a dish that is supposed to celebrate simple, honest ingredients. For a café built on the premise of authentic Irish comfort food, this was a spectacular failure on every front. I won't be returning. I came into the Irish way while visiting Sydney for breakfast one day and for drinks another evening for their happy hour. The breakfast was delicious and the cocktails were great with a really good selection. All the staff were warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting the area! Fabulous breakfast and service! The hash brown stack is divine and the bacon is the best I’ve had in years. Really enjoyed the tea and the mini brownies on the side were a delicious touch. Excellent value Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
