Came in for a quick dessert. Restaurant seemed to not be that full yet the staff was entirely overwhelmed, extremely rude and pretentious not wanting to serve us. Ordered the Baba Au Rhum and it was hard, stale and flavorless, assuming they forgot to even soak the dessert. Sent it back, hardly any apology, or correction. Can’t say anything about their dinner but their service left much to be desired Food: 1 Service: 1

We had an excellent lunch at The Island Cafe. Friendly staff, quirky location which has been exquisitely developed. Good food, would recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 200–250 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
