The first restaurant to impress me in years. I can not wait to fly in to New Orleans to drive there again and eat chargrilled oysters at sunset. Amazing

I attended a private event at the Lakehouse in it's lovely upstairs space. We had a set brunch menu and I enjoyed my omelet... although it wasn't technically an omelet (pointed out by a 13 year old) since all the good stuff was spooned over the top of cooked eggs. Others at my table enjoyed the gulf fish (amberjack that day) and the burger. The staff was hustling to get out all our food and the various drink orders of all the guests. The space was great and we had lots of room to move around and there was a bathroom located upstairs, important when an 80 year old has hauled herself up the stairs. The host said the restaurant was great to work with.

Very grateful for an outstanding service! We celebrated my friend's Baby Shower today. Food was great and stuff was hospitable! Definitely will come back and recommend this place! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30
