Recently had the Jalfrezi , while the curry was at an acceptable level (get what you pay for) the nan bread was solid and not edible, as venue was busy service fairly slow, when waitress came around meal was almost finished minus the bread, was told 'sorry and 2nd person to have an issue' wife had the pizza which she said was fine. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Popped into the Layton Rakes for fish and chips. We didnt have to wait Long for our food, even though the place was busy Have to say, the food was faultless, batter on the fish was so crispy, chips cooked very well. Kenny, the manager, and his team were lovely, friendly, polite and professional. We noticed, when a table became empty, it was cleared and cleaned within minutes. Highly recommended.
