Always on the hunt for a decent hot and sour soup and I saw a review here stating that the hot and sour soup is the best . Well I had to try this place and I'm made up I did . The sweet and sour chicken was spot on soft chicken in batter and the sauce was perfect . Not too sweet or sour just spot on. And th hot and sour soup also perfectly spicy and sour and sweet, really nice with lots of meaty meats. The noodles and chips were also lovely. Will be back here to try many other dishes as I feel the chef knows his stuff. One thing to note the Chicken and sweetcorn soup was almost perfect , just lacked that intense flavour and salt. First time ever been to here. Hot & sour soup amazing and I’ve never had Chop Suey rolls so Big and well filled. Defo be going again

OK, OK we tried it. The little Chef Walton, Liverpool, not to be confused with the travel stop off restaurants from days past. It's take-away offering Chinese & some English stuff. Quality: it's hard to set yourself apart when all local take-ways in the area offer than same standard takeaway quality & menu with no real difference between then, it's not great but it's not bad stuff Value: It's standard value for what you get these day, portions are belly filling in a classic Chinese UK fashion give or take a few pence more or less Taste: The Friday night or any night of the week take-away, it a required taste, grease bound & undistinguishable from the chippy down the road, you'll find it here Consistency: The little Chef hasn't changed much in what it serves, standard take-away here, your meal is a doppelganger on the last time you ordered in. The Little Chef serves it's local purpose, if you want the chippy Chinese dinner this is your spot give or take a few dollars from the place down the road. Food Bros: Rating.
