FIVE STARS FOR THE IDEA!!! I am a Montessori Lower Elementary teacher and I have lobbied for the idea here in America and in Italy for an integrate language space...for reading easy books in a foreign language that children already know in their mother tongue. It allows for the experience of reading in a foreign language to be a beautiful relaxation! KUDO to Caroline for starting an important trend. I will see you in June when I come to Rome and I will send my students your way, those who will travel to Rome....

Adoro questo posticino! Ci sono stata per uno spuntino e per acquistare dei libri (per bambini ovviamente!) e sono rimasta completamente affascinata dall'atmosfera, dai colori...da tutto!
In realtà la vera anima di The little reader è la libreria che è dedicata ai bambini da 0 a 13 anni circa ed è divisa tra proposte in lingua inglese e altre in italiano. Se avete un bambino vi consiglio di andarci, anche perché organizzano diversi corsi in lingua.
Ma passiamo al mio spuntino: ho assaggiato una torta di carote molto buona, soffice e alta, accompagnata da un succo di frutta al mango bio...bella accoppiata!

Questo è un piccolo angolo per i più piccoli, con tanti libri e tanti eventi adatti ai bambini, fino ai corsi di lingua. Tutto è a dimensione di bambino, per i grandi che accompagnano in compenso c'è un buon caffè.
