Under new management they are trying but right now the food is substandard. We ordered baked chicken wings, they came out barely cooked, not crispy at all. They were very, very salty. The menus are outdated so wanted skirt steak but they changed it to a 6oz sirloin. It was horrible. The best part of the meal was the Sweet Potato Fries. Again, the new manager James just started and is in there to try and turn it around. It used to be the office restaurant who had excellent wings. The place maybe had 10 people in it and it took forever to get a beer from the bar. As it stands now, we will not return anytime soon. James you got your work cut out for you between the kitchen and the dining and drinking area with the dust and dirt. Napkins used to make the tables stable, the filth ac ducts, the light covers above the booths, the tv’s cob webs, etc. we wish you good luck. My friend and I visited Local Draft for dinner last night. Before our food arrived, the manager stopped by our table and explained that he was working to improve the restaurant, particularly communication between the kitchen and customer service in an effort to attract more customers. He seemed genuinely interested in feedback and asked us to let him know how everything was. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect the improvements he described. While eating my classic burger, I found an unidentified piece of meat or food added that clearly did not belong there. (Chicken/pork?) I brought it to the manager’s attention and showed it to him. However, I never received a clear explanation as to what it was. The manager mentioned that there had been communication issues in the kitchen and that employees sometimes prepared things differently. In addition, our service was lacking. We went an extended period without drink refills, and when our waitress returned, she apologized and explained that she had been away on a bathroom break. The manager assured us that he would make things right, but the only adjustment made to our bill was a teacher discount totaling $1.50. Since both of us work in education, this appeared to be a standard discount rather than a response to the issues we experienced. I appreciated the manager’s willingness to speak with customers and ask for feedback, but I was disappointed that the concerns we raised were not addressed more meaningfully. Finding an unidentified item in my food, combined with the service issues and minimal resolution, left me with little confidence in returning. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Hoping this helps with achieving your goal of improving your restaurant. We had a great experience at The Local Draft! A few friends and I visited to celebrate a birthday and we had a blast. Rylee was an outstanding bartender! Very attentive, personable, and makes delicious drinks. The atmosphere is very welcoming as well. Huge patio with plenty of seating for the nice weather. We will definitely be back!
