My wife and I had lunch at the Local in Fallsron today. The atmosphere.food and especially the service were amazing.We had Jordyn as our waitress she was exceptional. Took time to answer our questions about the menu and to make us feel we were her only customer. She was outstanding.

My husband and I dined at the Local for our 35 anniversary last night. My husband had the 11 layer lasagna and I had the short ribs that were tasty. The short ribs were more of a pot roast with under cooked carrots. The dining room lacks ambiance and is extremely loud. We sat directly in the middle. And unfortunately placed next to two separate tables that had two investment counselors loudly pushing their sales pitch to multiple clients the entire time + more. Hence spoiling our dining experience. I know that isn’t particularly The Locals fault. It’s just too loud of a dining room. The dining room needs improvement. The menu also needs improvement, it seems a bit disjointed. The chef has skill, but not the skill afforded for menu items and pricing.
