Great food, friendly and efficient service, and a great atmosphere where it’s clear that the whole team take pride in their work. I especially would like to praise the owner and team for standing up to our-of-line bullies who feel that this cafe, being a private business, would and should accept people bringing in their own food and drinks into their cafe as if it were a public park. The fact that the other reviewer thought it relevant to throw in details of elderly parents and toddlers to try and evoke sympathy over her improper behaviour and expectations reflects the sort of person she (Sue/Karen) is… Keep up the great work, The Local team!! Look how many positive reviews there are, from decent human beings! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had breakfast here and overall it was a decent stop. We ordered the brekky burgers, iced chai, and lattes. The brekky burgers were nice. The lattes were very milky and the iced chai wasn’t great. One person in our group is gluten free and staff struggled to clearly confirm whether the sauces were gluten free, which made ordering a bit awkward. The location is very good with a pleasant outdoor area, and it’s dog friendly, which is a plus. Nice setting, but clearer knowledge around dietary options would improve the experience at The Local Inverloch. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $40–60 Dietary restrictions: Struggled to cater for gluten free Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking
