The Local is pretty near Slover Library. Enjoy good turkey this restaurant offers. The pleasant staff welcomes visitors all year round. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, The Local is famous for its satisfying service. From the guests' point of view, prices are low. But this place has been rated below average by Google.

Bad attitude bald cook. Treat people better. And maybe a knife and fork for the quesadillas. Go elsewhere folks. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

My food was fresh and on point. Favorable and less than 10 minutes wait. I did the survey and got a free 9 wing and fries combo the next day. I got the spicy mango bourbon sauce both times and both times was a 10/10 .

Short Story: Employees did not care, they worked extremity slow, were messing up and forgetting orders, food was a 2 out of 10 - super plain! WAY to expensive for food quality and quantity. Very disappointed in turkey sandwich literally plain white bread (they were out of the other bread choices) less then fair amount of turkey for the price and a slice of cheese (out of most cheese choices also) getting a pickle with the sandwich was the highlight. Fries were good/ salted and hot. Long Story: I had not gone to Waterside yet and was very excited to check out the new location. I had heard amazing things about the GUY FIERI’S SMOKEHOUSE MARKET STALL and had to try it. I ended up getting to Waterside latter then planned and Guy Fieri's had almost a 2hr wait (probably because its amazing). We decide to try The Local and grab some drinks instead of waiting...This was a HUGE mistake. The line moved fast to place our order but seamed to take forever for them to make the food. Employees seamed to not care and move at an extremely slow pace. We were not in a hurry so I wasn't really upset about the pace but as I was standing there and the guy who order two people in front of me never got his food causing a ripple effect. I also was skipped probably because the employees were focused on fixing there other earlier mistakes. Everyone around us was getting upset because orders were getting skipped and taking way to long for the quality of food they were putting out. I had order a Turkey sandwich and fries for almost $20 They were out off like every bread and cheese so I got white bread, turkey and whatever cheese they had. I am so disappointed with this place I will probably never get food from The Local again at this location. I wish I took a picture to show you what $20 gets you at this place...Bad experience, bad food, bad prices!!
