After having avoided the Longbow Beefeater for the last two years due to ridiculous pricing and poor quality me and the wife decided to try to again yesterday and to take advantage of your flat iron steak daytime offer. It used to be rump steak but they put the price up and saw that now they have brought out an alternative which is the flat iron and what a horrid and disgusting cheap nasty thing it is. Quality has really dropped at the Beefeater. This is there way of regaining the people that would come for lunch by offering a cheap piece of steak that is tasteless and fatty. My wife's steak was a blob of fat that couldn't be cut, let along ate. They didn't even have the courtesy of flattening it before it was served and although it was small it was ridiculously thick as it was fat. Avoid the flat iron steak, they never used to sell it as they knew its not quality, but obviously want to try to re-entice the daytime customers with this pathetic offering. BRING BACK THE RUMP STEAK, 60Z.
