Passing by The Plummer Building - Mayo Clinic Historical Suite, visit this bar. Mouthwatering salmon, beet salads and chicken sandwiches are among the dishes to be tasted at The Loop. You will enjoy its food, especially good brownies, sundaes and French toasts. This place is famous for delicious draft beer, wine or craft beer. Great coffee will make your meal even more delicious and you'll certainly come back.

Live music is played by musicians in the evening. The competent staff demonstrates a high level of quality at this place. The terrific service is something these restaurateurs care about. Attractive prices are to be expected at this spot. You will definitely appreciate the nice atmosphere and divine decor. But many Zomato users didn't award this bar a high score.

I was having an absolutely horrible night after coming here from the Mayo Clinic. Our waitress was very patient with me while I was upset, ordering food, which is nice because it was a super uncomfortable situation. Plus everything we got was delicious. Their cauliflower bites & their tofu dish were enough to keep me coming back every time I come to Minnesota! Also worth mentioning, great industry night deals with a good atmosphere.
We had 5 adults and one child. Kendyl was our server and she was attentive but not hovering. We started with cheese curds and the buffalo cream cheese wonton. Both were excellent and very generous servings. The wontons weren't your typical Asian pillows, but more like an egg roll. Crispy, tasty goodness, but could have had more cream cheese for my liking. But did have nice hunks of buffalo chicken in them. Two in our party had the fish and chips, nice portions and crispy. One had Nashville chicken sandwich, one had the "melt in your mouth" generous cut ribeye, and I had the bourbon Gouda burger. Everyone really enjoyed their food, and while I liked the burger, there could have been more cheese and I really didn't taste the onion jam. The fries were supposed to be garlic but I think they were just regular, though they were tasty and right crispiness. I enjoyed the Meomi wine. And we would go back again!
No complaints here! I was in town for work and needed to grab dinner somewhere. I wanted to check out downtown Rochester and found The Loop on Yelp. Parking can be tricky downtown but after 5 pm, the parking ramp is free. The interior is very beautiful with an array of large and small glass light ball light fixtures that makes for a unique look. There is a patio if you come on a nice day. We sat inside and were seated right by the window. They have big garage door style windows which they actually opened halfway through the meal. It was a beautiful night so this was perfect. Our server was very nice and was able to recommend a seasonal IPA they had on tap. It was a great choice. For dinner, they have a nice selection of plates like seafood, steak, pasta, burgers. I think anyone could eat here and find something they like. I was in the mood for a burger and ordered the Bourbon Gouda Burger. I mean, the itself just sounds amazing. It was bacon jam, smoked gouda cheese, onion jam, crispy onions +bourbon BBQ sauce. Drooling yet? The burgers all come with garlic fries and I believe you can substitute out for other options. The wait for food was not long and it all looked great. I was in love from the first bite. The burger was a little sweet but the flavors were balanced. The bacon jam!!! Yes. Oh and those garlic fries?! I don't know how I will ever eat fries without garlic again. Do not pass on these folks. What a great find in Rochester!
