Nice chalets, but be aware, it’s an upgraded glamping experience; the construction is single-skin aerated bricks (so no insulation) with some gaps to the outside; it gets really cold at night and DAMP in the chalet. The aircon unit only cooled and didn’t provide warm air. Lots of hot water for a great shower, but no hot water to the bathroom sink. Beautiful view across the fields. Dinner was OK, spring rolls were excellent. Breakfast was OK; croissants were really great. Staff very sweet and helpful. Service: 4

We have just closed our Honeymoon chapter in Thailand, so I’m taking the time to leave a review for our favorite stay. After three weeks in Thailand, The Maewin Coffee & Cottage remains to be our favorite. The cottages are beautiful inside and out. I really adored the view through the window. It invited me to pause, rest and simply witness the beauty before us. Burt, the host is incredible. His presence is very gentle and supportive. Every day he checked in on us, making sure we had everything we needed. He assisted us with booking a driver to see the magical profound jungle temple and bamboo rafting down the river. The locals are all so kind. Maewin was our favorite. We felt at home. — I also want to acknowledge the incredible nourishment prepared by the radiant women in the kitchen !! The dinners we received remain to be our favorite. & THE COFFEE, best coffee in Thailand. That all being said, thank you Burt for creating these cottages. Your intention is felt. Many blessings to this space. If you are reading this and considering booking your stay. I encourage you to stay here, get out of the city — journey into the beauty of these mountains. All of your needs are taken care of here.
